Funding pots of between £500 - £2,000 and £500 - £20,000 are available for projects centred around mental wellbeing, community participation in the arts, preventing or reducing the impact of poverty, supporting marginalised groups and promoting equality, improving biodiversity & green spaces, enabling participation in physical activity, responding to the climate emergency & promoting sustainability and increasing community access to outdoor space.
2023 funding rounds will be open:
10am on the 2 October for a minimum of 24hrs

The National Lottery Community Fund - Community Organisations Cost of Living Fund
This funding is for organisations that support people and communities under severe pressure because of the increased cost of living. To apply your organisation must already run critical services around at least one of: food and emergency supplies, emergency shelter, safe spaces, warmth and financial or housing advice can apply for support. To apply, organisations must be seeing increased demand and increased delivery costs for these critical services. They must also be registered with the Charity Commission or be an incorporated not-for-profit company, providing these services to low-income families and individuals in England.

Magic Little Grants
Gives smaller charities and community groups the chance to apply online for a £500 grant. Involves a simple 20 minute application process and outcome within six weeks. Organisations must either be in their first year of operation or have an annual income under £250,000.

Stockport Town of Culture Community Fund
Grants are available to support community organisations to celebrate and further develop Stockport’s rich cultural heritage, diversity and creativity. These are for £500 but can be increased if you link together with another organisation. These have to be new activities.
The fund is designed to enable new projects which provide all our communities with opportunities to be active and creative.
The fund is open to applications until 31 December 2023 or until all funds have been allocated.

Spend Well, Live Well
Spend Well, Live Well grants are available to support community organisations providing vital services to those impacted most by the rising costs. The maximum grant currently available is £1,000. Priorities for this fund are:
- To support individuals, families or communities facing hardship because of cost of living increases
- Increasing access to services and support for people facing increased financial pressure because of the cost of living crisis
This fund is open for applications until Friday 22 September
Zuto Make a Difference Fund
The latest round of the Zuto Make A Difference Fund in partnership with Forever Manchester is now open for applications from Community Groups in Greater Manchester. The maximum award request that will be considered is £1,000.

Funding available for VCFSE’s with projects that have a positive impact on communities, people or the environment and an average annual income of less than £50,000. Organisations/groups do not need to be a registered charity, however, will need to have a bank account in the organisation’s/project’s name such as a community bank account.
