As part of our commitment to providing an Independent infrastructure service, we are recruiting for members from the local voluntary & Community sector, public and private sectors to join the Sector 3 Independent Grant Panel.

The Grant Panel will make sure that grants from Sector 3 are given out fairly. The panel will be made up of different people with various backgrounds and skills. This will help make sure decisions are fair and balanced.

How does the Sector 3 Independent Grant Panel work?

To be considered on a future Independent Grant Panel you will need to join our pool of panellists and may be called upon at any time to join the panel for a particular fund.

What experience do I need to join the
Sector 3 Independent Grant Panel?

We prioritise individuals who have a deep understanding of Stockport’s community needs, aiming to bring team members who understand the challenges that shape the borough. Candidates must either live or work in Stockport, ensuring they have a direct connection to the area and an invested interest in its development.
