GMCA and 10GM are running a virtual workshop for the VCFSE sector in Greater Manchester to provide a further opportunity for key stakeholders to participate in shaping the Greater Manchester Information Sharing Framework platform development.
The session will be delivered in partnership with 10GM and Emma Ansell-Meehan, Strategic Lead for Population Health:
"This project aims to develop a collaborative information-sharing framework across Greater Manchester to support efficient, responsible data use and enhance collaboration between sectors, including VCSE organisations. By creating shared tools, resources, and processes, the project will support VCSE organisations to navigate information governance challenges, enabling secure, effective data sharing. Information Governance was highlighted as a specific issue in the VCSE Data and Intelligence Scoping Project. Engaging with the framework development will support the integration of VCSE insight and intelligence into GM’s information ecosystem, strengthening collaboration with public and private sector partners."
What is the Project? It will draw on Greater Manchester’s existing best practice and provide a shared approach to information sharing, you can read more on our website. We are currently working to identify a suitable platform that can host the practical steps, tools, guidance, and resources that can streamline and support collaborative projects needing to share information.
