Meet, Greet & Grow is a networking and training event for Stockport's voluntary & community sector.

Each event explores different topics and challenges that our sector faces, under the core themes of Investment & Funding, Capacity Building & Community Power.

This event focuses on Capacity Building - ways we can upskill our sector to work smarter, not harder.

11:30 - 12:00 - Give & gain networking activity - we plan to come out of the event with a starter for ten for a database of physical and skills based resources that we can share within the VCFSE sector

12:00 - 12:30 - Volunteer Management Best Practice & Volunteer Hub Update

12:30 - 13:30 - Increasing diversity in your volunteer pool, panel talk with Stockport College, Seashell Trust and more

Refreshments will be available.

The venue is accessible with step free entrance, disabled toilet and lift.

There will be no parking spaces available in the car park (the college use this car park) so please use nearby car parks. A bus stop is situated right outside the venue servicing 191, 192 (and more) routes.

** Please note, tickets are available strictly to volunteers and employees working for Voluntary, Community, Faith based groups, Social Enterprises and charitable organisations in Stockport. Ticket Charges

We will be charging a refundable fee of £5 (+eventbrite fees) per ticket. This will be refunded to you once you sign in at the event. Please note, the total amount you will be refunded is £5 per ticket (we are unable to refund eventbrite fees).

About Meet, Greet & Grow

Meet, Greet & Grow started last year as a full day conference for 150 people from the sector. Due to its success, and the phasing out of the monthly 'Cross-sector forum', (an online space to share ideas and identify opportunities for collaboration) we would like to trial a smaller, quarterly event that hones in on a specific theme.
