BA Better World Community Fund

Match funding (50%) of up to £50,000 to help organisations who are supporting social mobility, driving opportunity for education and employability in disadvantaged communities and supporting individuals from ethnic minorities as well as providing opportunities for girls in STEM. Funding will also target organisations who support and provide Health and Wellbeing services to those in need. There will also be funding available to support projects who help their local community become more sustainable by providing innovative ideas to prevent or reduce the impacts of climate change.

The Weinstock Fund

The Charity’s aims are to support a wide range of charitable causes, particularly in the fields of welfare, children, education, medicine, music and the arts.In particular, the Trustees prefer to support smaller charities or projects. Grants typically range from £2,000 - £5,000 per annum. Multi-year grants up to a maximum of three years are considered.

The Finnis Scott Foundation awards grants of up to £10,000 to projects in the areas of horticulture and plant sciences, as well as art history and the enhancement, conservation and preservation of art.  Preference is given to smaller charities where a grant would have a significant impact. The Foundation funds both capital and revenue projects.

Blue Spark Grants

BlueSpark provides grants for projects that support the education and development of children and young people. The funding is for small-scale projects which might not happen or would only happen on a lesser scale without the support of BlueSpark. Funding provided by BlueSpark must be crucial to your project rather than marginally incremental to its funding.

The Yapp Charitable Trust

Offer grants for core funding to registered charities with a total annual expenditure of less than £40k who are undertaking work that focuses on one of the following:

• Elderly people
• Children and young people aged 5 - 25
• People with physical impairments, learning difficulties or mental health challenges
• Social welfare
• Education and learning

Grants of up to £3,000 per year for three years are available.

Trustees meet 3 times per year to consider applications and a decision time can take up to 5 months from the date of submission.
