The Access Foundation

The Access Group Foundation is offering grants of between £25,000-£100,000 for organisations to mitigate the digital divide by making computing facilities, support and learning available to disadvantaged and vulnerable people. Charities, CICs, and educational establishments can apply for specific services, activities or projects – funding will not be provided for general IT-related overheads or operational costs.

BA Better World Community Fund

Match funding (50%) of up to £50,000 to help organisations who are supporting social mobility, driving opportunity for education and employability in disadvantaged communities and supporting individuals from ethnic minorities as well as providing opportunities for girls in STEM. Funding will also target organisations who support and provide Health and Wellbeing services to those in need. There will also be funding available to support projects who help their local community become more sustainable by providing innovative ideas to prevent or reduce the impacts of climate change.

The National Lottery Community Fund - Partnerships Fund

This programme offers a larger amount of funding of over £10,000 for organisations that work together with a shared set of goals to help their community thrive – whether that’s a community living in the same area, or people with similar interests or life experiences. The support is aimed at enabling organisations to continue to deliver activity or change and adapt to improve resilience.

Thomas Wall Trust

Offer grants up to £5,000 to registered charities with specific projects or core activities that help to improve employment prospects, self-confidence, resilience, and life chances.

Charity Service Grant Fund

Grants of up to £3,000 are available to projects in GM that focus on one of four priority areas – preventing homelessness, reducing social isolation, improving access to employment and emergency support for vulnerable families and children.

These funds have a rolling deadline and can be applied for at any time.

  • The programme supports development by allowing artists, cultural practitioners and organisations to work in new ways and to get their work out to new audiences.

  • The Core Costs Funding Stream is for charities and not-for-profit organisations. Applicants to this programme can apply for grants for up to three years. They aim to give quicker decisions for grants of £15,000 or less per year.

  • Funding for specific projects and activities children and young people aged 18 or under. Priority to smaller, local organisations and rarely fund organisations with income above £1 million. For UK wide Hospices and Housing Associations there is no maximum income limit. They will only consider applications for over £15,000 pa, if you are a registered non profit.

  • Grants are available to organisations doing legally charitable work in the UK that focuses on Communities or people most affected being involved in campaigning or leading change / Work which makes connections across our aims: Our Natural World, A Fairer Future and Creative, Confident Communities. You must have an annual turnover of less than £100,000. Funds of £30,000 upwards
